Energy saving and emission reduction is an important link to realize green production. However, according to the development status of mineral cotton in China, the task of energy conservation and emission reduction is still very heavy. Under the general trend of national energy conservation and emission reduction, the waste gas, waste water and waste residue (referred to as “three wastes”) generated in the production of mineral wool need to be comprehensively treated and managed, which meets the requirements of environmental management department and relevant national policies.
Generally speaking, if the modern rock wool production line wants to achieve the goal of green production, it is often necessary to focus on the following points.
- Recycle carbon monoxide. It is well known that carbon monoxide is toxic and can cause greenhouse effect. But at the same time, carbon monoxide itself is a kind of fuel, it is the main component of gas. Modern production lines often set up waste gas incineration device to fully burn carbon monoxide in exhaust gas. At the same time, in order to save energy, the waste heat should also be recycled. For example, the heat exchange system can be used to heat first, or the tap water can be heated to realize the daily hot water supply in the living area of the factory, so as to achieve the goal of energy saving more thoroughly.
- Recycling of wastewater. Wastewater is a problem to be considered in almost all industrial production lines. Wastewater recovery system or wastewater purification system is necessary for modern production line. For the rock wool industry, the waste water is treated by the filter device and recycled to the binder preparation station, which can realize zero discharge of production wastewater.
- Filter dust. Dust is a fine particle suspended in the air, long-term inhalation will cause great harm to the health of workers and nearby residents. The modern production line should be equipped with a perfect dust filtering system to filter the dust carried in the waste gas, so as to realize the discharge of the waste gas up to the standard. At the same time, the filtered dust should be recycled.
- Avoiding the emission of sulfur dioxide. Sulfur dioxide is the main culprit of acid rain, but also endangers human life and health. Modern production line should be equipped with desulfurization system to remove sulfur dioxide in waste gas and realize the goal of clean production.
- Recovery of solid waste. The waste residue and waste cotton produced by the production line should be reused in the production of mineral wool through the recycling system, so as to realize the recycling of solid waste in the mineral cotton production line and reduce the production cost.
