Principle and advantages of hot slag wool

Technical principle:

Through accurate, zoning and segmental control of the current and voltage of the slag furnace, the precise temperature control in the process of high temperature melt treatment can be effectively realized, and the homogenization of the melt can be promoted. The flow is continuous and stable. Its adjustable, controllable and adjustable ability can be applied to rock and cotton, solid glass brick, color series decorative plate, slag glass ceramics, foam glass, and artificial. Stone and other industries, with a complete realization function, provide an important technical support for the production of high value-added hot slag products diversification. 

Technological process:

In the production process, the hot slag is directly introduced into the charging pool through the slag ditch (or the slag is intercepted by the slag tank car), and when the hot slag flows into the charging pool, the modified material is added into the charging pool through the quenching and tempering material feeding port, so that the quenched and tempered materials are evenly mixed in the hot slag Then, the melt (i.e. the hot slag of mixed auxiliary materials) enters the melting pool through the flow channel to further clarify and homogenize the melt, and the combined stirring method is equipped to promote the formation of glass transition and obtain good and uniform melt; finally, the melt flows out of the discharge port of the material channel and is supplied to the subsequent molding equipment for processing into products.

 

This technology makes full use of the heat of the hot slag itself, and with the quenching and tempering materials, reduces the melting point of the slag, reduces its high-temperature viscosity and high-temperature resistance, strengthens the clarification and homogenization process of the slag, promotes the formation of its vitrification, is conducive to the smooth melting and uniformity of the melt required by the molding equipment, and effectively improves the yield and quality of the products. 

Main technical indexes of slag furnace: 

(1) Melt parameters at outlet: 

Acidity coefficient: 1.0-2.3 (the melt composition is uniform, and the set value fluctuation is less than 3%);

Temperature: 1200 ~ 1450 ℃, the set temperature fluctuation is less than ± 10 ℃;

Flow rate: 0.5 ~ 6t / h, the set flow fluctuation is less than 5wt%.

(2) Melting object: hot slag, the proportion is 65wt% ~ 98wt%, the rest is cold state modulation material.

(3) Power consumption per ton of melting: ≤ 270 kWh (quenching and tempering ratio 10-15wt%), even lower for granular cotton.

(4) Energy consumption of coke oven gas: generally less than 120 m3 / h, maximum 380 m3 / h (during oven drying).

(5) Melting rate: 2.45 ~ 5.86 T / m2 · D.

(6) melt quality: conform to the quality requirements of manufacturing rock and mineral wool, solid glass block, color series decorative plate, slag glass ceramics, foam glass, artificial stone and so on.

(7) Overhaul period: 2.5-4 years (determined according to product type and output).

(8) Working system: continuous working system.
