In addition to its practical application in the field of mineral wool and solid glass brick, the slag melting furnace system of the core equipment of the technology (slag furnace process) has strong market potential for application in coloured decorative panels, slag glass ceramics, foam glass and jade glass. In the above application fields, rock and mineral wool products belong to low value-added products and refractory materials. In other fields, the added value of the product is higher and the erosion of the melt to the refractory is smaller (the blast furnace slag content is relatively low). The disadvantage is that the relevant supporting technology lacks the practical experience of industrialization, and there are large uncertainties in the industrialization process, but it has strong market application potential and economic feasibility.
